I think now I'll add something like 2 or 3 posts a year, I'mm too lazy :p
Ok, I'm just back from one of the best concerts I've seen! For the second time I went to see Down, with the former singer and bassist of Pantera. That was awsome! This band is really playing the REAL music. The one that when you're listening to it, you know they just play for themselves and the public, no compromise to the Majors etc...
Such a heavy sound with taste of Black Sabbath and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Phil Anselmo is definitely the best frontman, and the best voice of the moment. He's better than in 2006. This guy is still alive despite the past 4 worst years of his life : rehab from several addictions, death of his brother Dimebag from Pantera, rejected by his former Pantera family, destruction of his hometown and his house during Katrina storm in New Orleans, and a huge surgery of the back last year...

September 29 New photosOk, I was too busy (and lazy) to add some new photos here, but I finally found time to do it.
So there's an album with the photos of my summer trip in Beijing.
The second album is my mission in Spain. It's in Granada, Andalucia, south of Spain.
We were testing cars there with all the european car builders (Audi, Mercedes, and even Pagani!).
Now I'm back in France, rainy, cold...
I'm still wondering where I'll go next summer.. So many places to go!

I finally went to UK to buy my car. It was a cool trip in spite of the fact that I couldn't sleep much...
I took the plane in Paris to Manchester, then drove down south to Dover, took the ferry, and then spent the most scary hour driving a car : imagine you're in this little car without roof, quite powerful for the weight, at night, and there's the most dense fog that you've ever seen... I couldn't see 10m in front of me. And some mad people driving as if it was sunshine...
Well, now I'm on the way to homologate it here, and it's not easy at all...

It's about my projects for this year. I have plenty of iportant and expensive things to do.
First, I plan to buy a new guitar in USA (cheaper). A very good model with stunning sound (made for Dimebag (RIP) from Pantera!! ).
I'll finally see Marilyn Manson live. I missed all the previous shows, so now I'm ready for this one.
In June I'll go back to the awsome Metal festival with plenty of good bands. The most famous for people who don't listen to metal very much is Korn. Not my fav, but a 'must see' for sure. I'll tell you others when they are all confirmed.
First, I plan to go traveling once again in China or USA who knows? (someone have the power to decide for me ;) )
Then I'll buy my own appartment here near Paris. Paying a rent every month is just a waste of money. With this appartment, I'll need a closed place to park the new car I'm going to buy (kind of a toy car! You'll see it when... I get it :p )
As you see, I'll need much money to do all those things, so feel free to send money haha :D

Take care friends! October 13 JobI finally found a real full time job :) So I'm definitely working for Renault from november 7th, still in Paris. I wanted to go to other countries, but finally the most important is to find a job :)
And with my job, I'll have some short missions in Spain and Brazil too! Well, now I'm looking for an appartment in Paris cause I had to leave the other one... And in Paris there are a lot of people looking for appartments, and they're expensive. And each time I find one, I want to go there to visit, and it's already rent. So boring. I feel like I'll never find one! And I'm not that happy cause there's also someone I miss so much... August 22 China 2006I finally came back from China.. The second time I go there, but this time, I went to Yunnan, in the South West near Tibet. I't's known to be one of the most beautiful areas in China, and it is! There are a lot of little ethnic groups in this place, and the nature is really dense, so green and a lot of beautiful mountains... The weather is rather cool, sometimes cold when it rains, and clothes are difficult to dry, especially in Zhongdian (Shangrila), where we stayed in a tibetan Guesthouse. People there were so kind and the food was delicious, especially the mushrooms!!
I also went to Beijing (where I stayed more than 10 days), Chengde near Beijing, and we spent a few days in Shanxi, a province where we went with Peach and her friend Angel. There we visited the beautiful old town Pingyao and the Buddhist caves in Datong.
It was really difficult to leave China this year. I was so sad to leave my dear Peach and her family and friends...
I know I'll go back to china in the future, but first I have to visit Japan and south east of USA ;) June 26 HELLFESTThis weekend, I wnet to the biggest Metal festival in France : the Hellfest. I've been there on friday and saturday, but I couldn't stay on sunday... But the best bands were in the first 2 days : Soulfly, Motörhead, Apocalyptica, Stone Sour, Cradle Of Filth, Arch Enemy, Helloween... I've seen between 30 and 40 bands, from Hard Rock to Trash Metal and Black Metal..
Friday was so hot and sunny! I even have a sunburn on my head :) The festival was in the middle of large fields and grapevine.. But because of the pogos, there was so much dust in the air, that was horrible!
For the 3rd time I've seen Soulfly and the 2nd time Motörhead, still great. But what I really appreciated was Apocalyptica and Cradle Of Filth. Apocalyptica is a metal band playing cellos, and covering Metallica songs. As there ain't no singer in the band, the whole crowd was singing the lyrics! It was wonderful!
Cradle Of Filth is also a great live band, they have puppets of demons during the show and the singer (looks like the Dimmu Borgir singer) is really short but so charismatic, and his voice is awsome!
So I can say I really appreciated this festival (more than the Furyfest last year) because I've seen lots of good bands I'd never seen before.
I wish I could take my best friend there.. June 05 Another concert!On saturday I went to a great concert, a side project of the best heavy metal singer in the world, former singer of Pantera : Phil Anselmo! the band is called Down and the music is a mix of southern rock and metal called Stoner rock.
The show took place in a small hall just down the street leading to Amelie's café in Amélie Poulain. It's located in Montmartre.
There was no first band opening the show but instead, Down played a movie on a large screen with all their favorite bands, form Queen to Led Zeppelin, and Metallica. It was cool!
Then it's time for one of the shows I've waited for the most! The band arrives on stage first, without the singer. It's also great to see the former bassist of Pantera! Then Phil arrives.. He looks physically ok, but when you see how he moves and his eyes, you understand that he's still a junkie... What a pity.. But his voice is still so great! the played all of the best Down songs and except a bad sound (we couldn't hear one of the 2 guitars), the show was really great! I hope I can see Phol again before he passes away because of drugs...
Another information about my job for the end of the year, I know it won't be in Japan (Nissan) because they don't hire foreigners...

May 15 Suspense for next year...I can finally add a new post :)
In september, I'll have to find a job.. School is over :) Problem is that I don't know at all what' I'm going to do... I have an opportunity to work for Renault in Romania. I really want to work abroad, but I'd rather go to Asia. Another possibility is to work in Korea, for another car maker. I'll send a letter and see what they say.. I'll also sent letters to companies in Taiwan, and to the PSA group because they have plants in Wuhan, China. This last possibility would be great because I like China a lot! Those opportunities are related to my formation and scolarship, but I may also work as a french teacher abroad.. I 'd like to do that. And what about going to Canada?
I'd also love to work in car Design too, but I have no experience with it...

Last weekend was really musical..
On Saturday in Angers, I went to see the new band of Robert Plant, the former singer of legend Led Zeppelin! It was so beautiful! I never expected to ever attend a performance of a Led Zeppelin song, sang by the original singer (for me the second best singer ever after Freddie Mercury). And better than expected, they performed 6 songs of Led Zeppelin!!! I was dreaming.. I almost cried when I heard the first notes of "Going To California" which is such a beautiful song.. I was thinking I was in the 70's! And in addition of the Led Zeppelin songs, the new songs are really good too. A wonderful show!
On Sunday in Paris, I went to see Soulfly for the second time. A brasilian band performing tribal heavy metal. The singer is really famous in the Metal background. The hall was quite small, and I was at first at the back, but with Soulfly's songs, you have to be in the pit!
It was so powerful, hot and wild in the crowd! I could reach the fence just in front of Max Cavalera (the singer) and it was really a good moment. The sound wasn't that good, but it's always a pleasure to see them live!
I ended sweating a lot and with some bruises everywhere, but it was so cool ;)
Except that, I must go to be vaccinated for my trip to China... So much different needles and my shoulders will be so painful... :( But I have to.. February 14 NewsNothing really important... Just that I will be in China from July 10th to August 13th (can't wait!!) and I 'll soon receive my new num cam. This time I'll be able to take good pictures!
It's so great to work at Renault! I begin to like the work and I have many advantages for travel. Next year I want to go to Japan. If I'm still working for Renault, for sure I'll go!! January 29 Chinese New YearHappy Chinese New Year!!!

First, as you can see on the pics, the city is rather nice.
But in detail, streets are dirty, papers everywhere, and the buses... fries all over the seats, with ketchup of course, papers, sticky floor... disgusting..
The weather? Well if you look at the people, you would say summer because of tee shirts, skirts... But there's ice on the floor, and the temperature between 0 and maybe 5 °C... Crazy.
And it's not London!
The food is similar to American fast foods, fat and with a lot of sugar.
the good point is that people are kind and open minded. You can dress as you want, have blue and pink hair... whatever, people won't look at you as a monster.
But it was a good experience, my homestay was so kind.
Finally, I'll say that I won't go back for holydays more than 1 week. Depends what you're looking for ;) November 26 Winter is comingToday is the first day of snow here in Paris.
It's getting really cold... I really feel it's winter.
And in 2 weeks, I'm going to Manchester.
Unfortunately, I have a lot of homework and exams are coming..
And I finally have internet and the telephone in my appartment, that will be more convinient. November 11 KMFDMI added the pics of Paris and my

tuesday, for the KMFDM concert! It
was in a quite small hall and there
was a balcony just over the stage.
And it was not too crowdy.
The band was awsome! They played
so well, it was almost like on the
albums, but more powerful, and the
singer Lucia was in a good shape..

the next tour! October 26 Living in ParisI finally found time to write something on my blog. I have a computer at Renault so I can connect on MSN but my boss doesn't know and I think it's better like that. I found an appartment, well if I can call that an appartment : I have a 11m² room. But it's quite well located, near the Chinatown. (I will post pictures soon) Sometimes I have 3 day weekends so I can visit Paris. It's a good opportunity to go out, like concerts. In november I will see KMFDM and after, maybe Apocalyptica too. And I heard that I will have 5 holyday weeks this year, so I plan to go back to China, or Korea with Clément to visit Patrice if it's possible. I can say that almost everything's ok for me now. September 27 Now I know!On sunday, I wanted to take my car and when I saw it,
the door was folded. I looked inside the car and saw my car radio and the rear speakers have been stolen. So once more I will have to pay. But on monday, I had an interview with Renault in Paris
and they will take me this year for my studies!
So now, finally, I know that I will stay in Paris this year.
It's sure, I won't move again in another city..
I feel better, but now I have to find an appartment.. September 14 Still waiting...Now I know where I will be next week!
I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Lille, a grey
place where it's really cold in the winter...
